Assignment: Research current problems in either the food or drug industries in this country and write a proposal on how to remedy the problem. Create a narrated presentation of 5-10 minutes suitable to be shown to an audience (such as a state assembly.) Voicethread and narrated PowerPoints are both good options.

Step 1 - Research: Use the scholarly databases that your school pays for, the Food and Drug Administration, and other search engines to research current problems.

Step 2 - Brainstorm and Plan: How can you use this information to make a plan to solve a problem? Figure out how to solve one of the problems that you found and write your proposal to your state legislator.

Step 3- Outline: Use CMAP Tools to create a storyboard for your presentation.

Step 4 - Images: Generally, presentations consist of narration over text and/or images. Try to find images that do are free. Try Pics4Learning. If that does not have what you need, you can pursue other options, like Google Images. Just be sure to always have citations for your pictures.

Step 5 - Create the Presentation: Use either Voicethread or PowerPoint to create your presentation.
